Easton students earn academic honors

EASTON, Maine — Easton Jr./Sr. High School recently held its high school academic awards banquet. Principal Mark Stanley and Assistant Principal Bryan Wright presented awards for academic excellence.

High school

The following high school students received certificates.

Freshmen: Hannah Croteau, Benjamin Pelkey, Kassidy Brewer, Benjamin Currier and Alysabeth Lamoreau.

Sophomores: Madison Bubar, Owen Nicholson and Nathan Quint.

Juniors: Austin Thibeault, Kassidi Hanson, Cecilia Morin, Lydia Ferris and Samantha Boulier.

Seniors: Joseph Anderson, Christopher Busse, Wilder Mitchell, Hunter Dudley, Olivia Lamoreau and Shelliese Mullen.

Students who were eligible to receive a letter were, freshmen: Lacey O’Mara, Ian Bubar, Kaden Arnett, Maggee Currie, Emma Lamoreau and Ethan Thibeault. Sophomores: Matigan Dow and Camden Michaud. Juniors: Lila McCrum and Colton Harding. Seniors: Abigail Dionne, Isaac Currier and Isaac Wipperman.

Honor Pins were presented to, sophomores: Holden Stoutamyer, Kody Carter, Paul Bonner, Savannah Guess, Rachel Wipperman, Mitchell Flewelling and Kaitlyn Hurley. Seniors: Isaac Currier, Isaac Wipperman and Joshua Rooney.

Calculators were presented to, sophomores: Rachel Wipperman, Mitchell Flewelling and Kaitlyn Hurley. Seniors: Joshua Rooney and Emily Thompson.

Perfect Attendance pins went to Evan Carver and Kaitlyn Hurley.

The President’s Award for Educational Achievement was presented to seniors Isaac Currier, Abigail Dionne and Emily Thompson.

The President’s Award for Educational Excellence was presented to seniors Joshua Rooney and Isaac Wipperman.

The Class of 2019 Honor Parts were presented, with a medallion and pin, to valedictorian Joshua Rooney, salutatorian Isaac Wipperman, first honor essayist Emily Thompson and second honor essayist Abigail Dionne.

Junior high

The following junior high students also received awards.

In grade 8, Grace Flewelling, Jenna Cochran and Logan Bernier each received a $30 gift certificate.

Benjamin Wipperman, Grace Flewelling, Jenna Cochran and Logan Bernier were awarded with an excellence pin.

Austyn Cowley and Benjamin Wipperman each received honor roll pins.

Jadon Ellis, Evan Carver, Karla Chege, Cheyanne Day and Nickie Deschaine received .etters.

Kenzie Legassie received a certificate.

In grade 7, Amelia Bate, Trey Brewer, Alexander Hale, Olivia Keep, Madison Seeley, Grace Ellis and Maggie McQuade received an honor roll pin.

Rylee Cassidy, Dawson Lamoreau, Mason Adams, Augustus Bonner, Amelia Bate, Trey Brewer, Alexander Hale, Olivia Keep, Madison Seeley, Grace Ellis and Maggie McQuade received a letter.

Makenzie Kinney, Aimee Eivers, Summer Sponberg and Hailey Faloon all received a certificate.

The President’s Award for Educational Achievement was presented to eighth-grader Cheyanne Day.

The President’s Award for Educational Excellence was presented to eighth-graders Logan Bernier, Jenna Cochran, Austyn Cowley, Nickie Deschaine, Grace Flewelling and Benjamin Wipperman.
