PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — The Wildcats beat out the Crusaders 1-0 during their quarterfinal game on Wednesday, Oct. 30, to advance into the semifinals.
The game started with the first and only goal of the game from Wildcats player Colby Carlisle with an assist from Gage LeTourneau.
Goalie Xavier McAtee made 12 saves against Van Buren’s 19 shots on goal.
“Our defensive effort was impressive against a very talented team,” said Head Coach Tim McCue.
The No. 4 Wildcats finished off their season (9-5-1) in the semifinal match against Caribou on Saturday, Nov. 2.
