OAKFIELD, Maine — The Purple Hat ladies traveled to the Smoki-Haulers Snowmobile Clubhouse in Oakfield for their annual Christmas meeting. The clubhouse was decorated with wreaths at every window, a beautiful Christmas tree and the tables were covered with greenery and lights for the season.
Happy birthday was sung to Betty Wyman. Next year’s schedule was discussed, more to follow at the next meeting. Jackie Colella read about “Daddy calling the Doctor.”
After a delicious ham dinner, Lisa Fogerty read a Left/Right game and everyone ended up with a lovely Christmas gift. Marie Gillotti read a Christmas Blessing and Betty Wyman read a Christmas story. Bernice Campbell was the winner of the wreath game. Marie Gillotti, Betty Wyman and Bernice Campbell were the winners of the gifts from the Snowmobile club.
