PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — Presque Isle officials announced on Thursday that United Airlines’ local flights will now fly to and from Washington-Dulles International Airport, rather than Newark International Airport.
The airline said that effective April 9, all scheduled arrivals into Presque Isle International Airport will be from Washington-Dulles, and all of its scheduled departures from Presque Isle International will be to Washington-Dulles. There will be one flight to and from Presque Isle per day.
United published the following schedule for each day of the week: Depart Presque Isle at 8:40 a.m., arriving at Washington-Dulles at 11:03 a.m. Flights will depart Washington-Dulles at 5:30 p.m., arriving in Presque Isle at 7:45 p.m.
Local officials said as always, schedules can change without notice so passengers should check with the airline online or on their smartphone app to confirm flight times. Anyone who had a reservation on one of the flights affected by this change should also contact the airline.
