PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — As of July 24, nomination papers for Presque Isle City Council and SAD 1 school board seats will be available at the office of the City Clerk at Presque Isle City Hall, 12 Second St.
The deadline to return nomination papers is 4:30 p.m. on Sept. 4, with elections to be held on Nov. 3.
There are two City Council seats up for election, each with a four-year term.
There are two SAD 1 seats available, each with a three-year term. Seats up for election are in Presque Isle’s District 5, currently held by Robert Cawley, and District 9, currently held by Lori Kenneson.
