HOULTON, Maine — The Houlton Police Department responded to the following incidents from  through the month of January 2021.

Thursday, Jan. 7 

6:06 a.m. — Sgt. Janakis responded to Court Street to investigate a 9-1-1 hang-up.

7:37 a.m. — Sgt. Janakis responded to Court Street to assist another agency.

8:06 a.m. — Lt. Bickford responded to River Street to investigate a motor vehicle accident.

10:49 a.m. — Lt. Bickford responded to B Road to investigate a motor vehicle accident.

11:50 a.m. — Sgt. Janakis responded to Mechanic Street to investigate a disturbance.

1:02 p.m. — Sgt. Janakis responded to Highland Avenue to investigate a theft/forgery/fraud complaint.

1:28 p.m. — Sgt. Janakis responded to Foxcroft Road to investigate a motor vehicle accident.

2:12 p.m. — Sgt. Janakis responded to Spring Street to investigate a reported harassment.

3:57 p.m. — Sgt. Janakis responded to North Street to arrest Jason Clark, 39, of Amity for domestic violence assault.

5:53 p.m. — Officer Varnum responded to Ludlow Road to investigate a reported harassment.

Wednesday, Jan. 6 

7:05 a.m. — Sgt. Janakis responded to Military Street to assist a citizen.

10:07 a.m. — Sgt. Janakis responded to Bangor Street to investigate a disturbance.

11:13 a.m. — Sgt. Janakis responded to Military Street to assist a citizen.

12:36 p.m. — Sgt. Janakis responded to Pleasant Street to investigate a theft/forgery/fraud complaint.

1:29 p.m. — Sgt. Jankis responded to Spring Street to investigate a reported harassment.

3:34 p.m. — Sgt. Janakis responded to Hartford Street to investigate a motor vehicle accident.

4:04 p.m. — Sgt. Janakis responded to High Street to investigate a reported trespass.

6:33 p.m. — Officer Varnum responded to Sugarloaf Street to investigate a hazard.

8:57 p.m. — Sgt. Smith responded to Broadway to arrest Isiah Oliver, 25, of Houlton on a warrant.

10:49 p.m. — Officer Varnum responded to Darcie Drive to investigate a reported trespass.

10:48 a.m. — Sgt. Janakis responded to Commonwealth Avenue to assist with a civil dispute.

10:59 a.m. — Sgt. Janakis responded to Salem Street to investigate a 9-1-1 hang-up.

12:26 p.m. — Cpl. Clayton responded to Watson Avenue to investigate a complaint.

1:16 p.m. — Cpl. Clayton responded to North Street to investigate a complaint.

4:22 p.m. — Cpl. Clayton responded to White Settlement Road to assist a disabled motor vehicle.

6:37 p.m. — Officer Varnum responded to Florence Avenue to investigate a burglary.

8:54 p.m. — Cpl. Clayton responded to Bird Street to investigate a burglar alarm.

Friday, Jan. 1

12:38 a.m. — Sgt. Smith responded to Columbia Street to investigate suspicious activity.

4:06 a.m. — Sgt. Smith responded to North Street to assist a citizen.

4:09 a.m. — Sgt. Smith responded to Mechanic Street  – Summons, on 30 year old Houlton man – James Keaton, possession of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of scheduled drug, operating while license suspended or revoked. Sgt. Smith also summoned Zane Welton, 28, of  Houlton for possession of methamphetamine and unlawful possession of a scheduled drug.

5:23 a.m. — Officer McGuire responded to North Street to arrest Melaine Davenport, 37, of Fort Fairfield for operating while license was suspended or revoked, unlawful possession of a scheduled drug and violating condition of release.

7:53 a.m. — Sgt. Janakis responded to Smyrna Street to investigate a reported trespass.

10:43 a.m. — Sgt. Janakis responded to Hartford Street for a well-being check.

1:11 p.m. — Det. Cyr responded to Spring Street to investigate a complaint.

4:13 p.m. — Det. Cyr responded to High Street to investigate a complaint.

5:32 p.m. — Det. Cyr responded to Park Street to investigate a 9-1-1 hang-up.

11:04 p.m. — Officer Varnum responded to Court Street for an animal complaint.

11:48 p.m. — Cpl. Clayton responded to Hartford Street to assist another agency.
