PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — Due to frigid weather forecast for Tuesday, Northern Light A.R. Gould Hospital is advising those with appointments at its COVID-19 vaccine clinic either to wait in their cars, or not to arrive early, so they can stay warm.

The hospital is holding a community vaccine clinic on Tuesday, March 2, at Northern Maine Community College.  More than 1,000 people will be vaccinated at the clinic.  Due the large size of the clinic along with the anticipated cold weather, those with appointments to get their COVID vaccine are urged to not arrive early, and if they do so, to please plan to stay in their vehicle until 10 minutes prior to their appointment.

This will allow people keep physically distant without having to stand out in the cold.
