The Happy Days Club of Easton will be going on a bus trip to Mizpah in Grand Isle on Thursday, June 24.
Mizpah is a nonprofit organization, and the site is open to the general public free of charge and is handicap accessible. There are also golf carts available to tour the grounds, if walking is an issue for patrons.
After the tour, the group will enjoy lunch. Club members will receive a stipend towards lunch.
The bus will depart from the West Ridge Manor Parking lot at 8:45 a.m.
Prestile Park Committee Members Marcel Chalou and Matthew Hopkins were on hand at the Prestile Park barbecue fundraiser at Easton’s Country Farms Market to answer any questions about the project. With them are their sidekicks and sons, Alexander and Nicholas.

Successful fundraiser
The Town of Easton and Country Farms Market hosted an amazing Build the Park barbecue fundraiser. The market’s crew and vendors made this event possible.
The Smokey Bears BBQ team and the staff at Country Farms Market in Easton made the Build the Park fundraiser a huge success. The line for food was hopping for several hours and kept everyone on their toes.

Raffle prizes included Celtics Jersey, barbecue smoker, branded golf bag and coolers, winter hats and gloves, a cornhole set, thermoses, branded collectibles, a fisherman’s package and much more.
Easton gives a huge thanks to every person who attended and purchased raffle tickets.
