HOULTON, Maine — York’s of Houlton has announced the promotion of Laura Beals to manager of the Rental Department.
In this new position, Beals manages all aspects of the Toyota rental fleet, which is in excess of 20 vehicles. In addition to her new role, she also heads up the warranty administration division, where she is responsible for all warranties receivable through Toyota and Ford.
“She is well trained in handling challenging tasks,” said Jamie York, dealer principal. “Along with her outgoing and friendly demeanor, she is also well educated, which will allow her to prosper in her new position for years to come.”
Beals was hired at York’s of Houlton in 2018 as a service writer in the scheduling department. She is an alumnus of Houlton High School. She went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in business administration at the University of Maine at Presque Isle and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in human resources at Southern New Hampshire University.
Outside of her career, Beals enjoys spending time with her friends and family. Beals, who won the employee of the month award in April of this year, also enjoys photography, painting, sewing and cricut projects.
