CARIBOU, Maine — Chloe Sleeper of Caribou, a senior at Caribou High School, has been selected to receive the 2022 Principal’s Award, Principal Dr. Eric McGough announced.

The award, sponsored by the Maine Principals’ Association, is given in recognition of a high school senior’s academic achievement and citizenship.

“Chloe has been the model of leadership and exceeds the standard for excellence. She plays an active role in her class and is consistently demonstrating her leadership in our school community,” McGough said.

“With every challenge that this year has presented to our staff and students, Chloe has risen to the occasion and thrived.  I am incredibly proud of the quality person that she is, and look forward to many great things from her in the future,” he said.

The Principal’s Award is presented in more than 100 Maine public and private high schools by member principals of the MPA, the professional association which represents Maine’s school administrators.
