Parade line-up will begin at 9:15 a.m. at the Caribou Court House on Sweden Street, with the parade beginning at 10 a.m.. The parade will then move down Sweden Street and end at the Veterans Memorial Park on Main Street.

A ceremony honoring fallen veterans will be held at the park immediately following the parade.

Starting at 1 p.m., another ceremony will be held at the Northern Maine Veterans Ceremony at 37 Lombard Road in Caribou.

This year marks the first time since 2019 that Caribou’s Memorial Day parade will return. The event was first canceled in 2020 due to COVID-19 restrictions. In 2021 local veterans groups brought back the ceremonies, but canceled the parade due to heavy rain.
