PRESQUE ISLE, Maine – The County Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce they have recently promoted Carla Cambridge from assistant branch manager to branch manager in Presque Isle.

Cambridge has been in finance and risk assessment for 25 years. During this span she has been a banking officer, an underwriter in property and casualty insurance, and a residential mortgage loan manager. She joined The County in 2014 as the assistant branch manager and loan officer in Presque Isle.

“Carla’s dedicated years of assisting our membership, along with her volunteerism, will suit her well in continuing the tradition of great service we expect,” said The County Federal Credit Union Executive Vice President Dan Bagley. “Carla and her team have worked hard to maintain a high standard of quality service for our members and the communities we serve. Her experience in the financial services sector, along with her friendly demeanor and personality, will help her thrive in this new role with the support of our great team. I look forward to being a part of Carla’s continued success.”

In 2015, Cambridge earned her associates in business administration. She also has many continuing education certifications, honors, and designations under her belt.

“Having no experience with a credit union prior to joining The County in 2014, I had no understanding of the value of membership in a credit union,” said Cambridge. “I am proud to be part of an amazing team and take pride in building solid relationships with our members and supporting their financial success.”

Cambridge, passionate about serving in the community, is a past president of Kiwanis Club of Presque Isle, and a prior member of Aroostook County Area Management Team for Maine Special Olympics. She lives in Chapman with her husband, David.

The County Federal Credit Union serves Aroostook, Penobscot, and Piscataquis counties with branches in Caribou, Presque Isle, Fort Fairfield, Mars Hill, Houlton, Howland, Old Town, and Bangor.
