HOULTON, Maine – Presque Isle emerged victorious in a three-way golf match with Houlton and Brewer Thursday afternoon at the Houlton Community Golf Course.
The Wildcats shot a 178 to win the match, while Brewer was second with a 185 and the Shires were third at 195.
Gavin Dunleavy of Presque Isle was the medalist on the day with a 41.
Individual results for Presque Isle were: Jack Boone, 45; Dunleavy, 41; Grant Stubbs, 45; Owen MacKinnon, 47; Cooper Boinske, 50; Ean Roy, 48; Wyatt Young, 48; and Nick Lavigne, 51.
Individual results for Houlton were: Thadon Gentle, 48; Madalyn Quirk, 50; Patrick Marino, 52; Cody Johnston, 54; Daniel Henderson, 45; Claire Prescott, 58; Abby Fitzpatrick, 58; and Mark Thibodeau, 58.
Calvin Grass was the top finisher for Brewer with a 46.
