Vikings top Fort Kent Warriors

FORT KENT, Maine — The Fort Kent boys were handed their first loss of the basketball season Dec. 27 when Caribou defeated them 69-50. 

The Warriors dropped to a 4-1 record on the season with the defeat. The Class B Vikings moved up to an even 2-2.

Keegan Cyr scored 13 points leading the way for the Fort Kent offense.

Drew Deschaine scored 12 points for the Warriors before being forced from the game by a shoulder injury. Ethan Daigle added seven points.

Caribou’s Henry Hebert led the charge for the Vikings and topped all scorers with 22 points. Liam Dee contributed 13 points including three, three-point buckets. Reece Cavagnaro and Avery Thibodeau pitched in seven points apiece.
