PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — Presque Isle Historical Society will present a new series of free mini-concerts with musicians from around The County.
The four concerts will be held from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the garden of the 1875 Vera Estey House Museum, located at 16 Third St. in Presque Isle.
Performances are as follows: Saturday, July 1, the Pelletier Lovejoy Jazz Ensemble; Saturday, July 22, Hoss & Lurleen; Saturday, Aug. 26, Jerry T.; and Saturday, Sept. 23, Common Crossing Duo.
Each concert is free to the public. Those attending should bring a lawn chair. The events are sponsored by AARP Maine.
Free parking is accessible in the Second Street parking lot across from City Hall, which has direct access to the garden through the arbor. Special guided one-hour tours of the 1875 Vera Estey House will be available during the concerts for $5 per person.
