PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — The Aroostook Hospice Foundation, owner of the Aroostook House of Comfort, is delighted to announce the receipt of a generous $5,000 grant from the Aaron A. and Maria H. Putnam Family Charitable Trust of Houlton. This substantial grant has been earmarked to facilitate charity care patient assistance, specifically to residents of Houlton, Hodgdon, Linneus and New Limerick who necessitate care at the Aroostook House of Comfort.
The primary focus of this grant is to extend crucial support to individuals and families in Houlton and its neighboring communities who may find themselves underinsured, uninsured, or facing financial constraints. Charity care funding ensures that all individuals, regardless of their financial capacity, can access the compassionate, quality, end-of-life care within the Aroostook House of Comfort.
