PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — Construction of F.W. Webb Company’s Aroostook County flagship store has been completed with its doors opening in Presque Isle.

The new wholesale building opened on Monday, Feb. 19, and includes a training space for residential and commercial contractors.

At 43,000 square feet, the new facility at 15 Central Drive in Presque Isle is three times the size of its previous location in Caribou.

“We had been in Caribou, I think, for 40 years,” F.W. Webb Manager A.J. Edgecomb said.

“Presque Isle is where everything is moving to nowadays. It’s a community that’s growing and this side of town specifically has been growing in the last 10 years.”

The company announced plans to move to Presque Isle in July 2022.

F.W. Webb, based in Bedford, Massachusetts, operates in the six New England states and New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, with 13 locations throughout Maine.
