Eating out seems to be one of the seniors’ greatest pleasures. 55 already had their outing, which will continue until each of the members has had a turn.

Cadette Girl Scout Troop 673 had a toiletry drive to benefit the Battered Women’s Shelter, but the community opened their coffers and food, money and even bottles were given. The troop donated the toiletries and money to the shelter and the local food bank will be rewarded with several boxes full of needed food. The four girls who took part in the event were rewarded with the feeling of having helped others. They worked on their goal of earning their Silver Awards.
