PRESQUE ISLE, Maine – Police arrested a man Thursday who allegedly robbed the Domino’s Pizza restaurant on Main Street in Presque Isle.

At around 9:19 p.m. employees reported that a man dressed in a camouflage jacket and black hoodie demanded money while pointing at them an unseen object that appeared wrapped in the sleeve of his hoodie. The man fled on foot after allegedly stealing $175 from the restaurant.

Presque Isle officers found the man counting money behind a nearby business shortly after the incident. He is being charged with Class B robbery and a Class C charge of violating conditions of release. Officers did not find any weapons, according to Deputy Police Chief Brady Smith.

The investigation is currently ongoing and police have not identified the man accused of the robbery.
