The Miss Presque Isle Pageants had 26 contestants grace the stage at Presque Isle High School on April 6 for a sold-out show.
The Presque Isle Elks Ladies Auxiliary sponsored this year’s pageant. Six young ladies were crowned Saturday evening under the direction of Heidi Estabrook and co-director Casey Estabrook.
Reigning 2023 queens gave up their titles including Mini Miss Rosie Supa, Little Miss Maggie Knox, Pre Teen Aliyah Saucier, Junior Miss Brooklyn Smith, Teen Miss Lita Perkins and Miss Presque Isle Danica Haskell.
2024 titles were awarded to Mini Miss Raylynn Kinney, Little Miss Ana O’Brien, Pre Teen Miss Carrigan King, Junior Miss Addisyn Markey, Teen Miss Johanna Cote and Miss Presque Isle Bobbi Jo Guerrette.
Three of these young ladies will be preparing for the upcoming Maine Potato Queen Pageant in July.
Also placing in the evening were the first runners-up, Mini Miss Charlotte Smith, Little Miss Anna Supa, Pre-Teen Miss Grace Larrabee, Junior Miss Natalie Putnam and Miss Presque Isle Maddison Jackson. Third runner-up for Little Miss was Juliette Vazquez and second runner-up was Nora Graves.
Brooklyn Smith, 2023 Junior Miss, received the second annual Positive Impact Award for her involvement in the community during her reign. She logged 112 hours volunteering with her crown on.
Other special awards were: Ambassador Award Maddison Jackson, People’s Choice Award Raylynn Kinney, Congeniality Award Carleigh Barnes and Paisley Fulton, High Ticket Sales Charlotte Smith, Sponsor Award Runner-up Denver Smith, Sponsor Award Raylynn Kinney and Directors Choice Ginny Kling.
