Northern Maine Moose defeat John Bapst

HOULTON, Maine — Northern Maine Moose varsity lacrosse forged a 13-12 win May 1 at home against John Bapst. The game was a close match throughout.

The victory was led by the two Moose players of the game, Isaiah Ervin and Colton Simoes.  Ervin netted seven goals and three assists while Colton Simoes, faceoff specialist, secured 82 percent of the faceoff wins, one goal and five assists.

The Moose were well-rounded at attack with Logan Faggiole scoring three goals, and Konnor Lynds with three assists. Midfield help came from Adrian Norton who had a goal and assist with Brandon Barton adding an assist.

The defense was led by Dawson Cole, who had 20 saves on the day surrounded by his defensive teammates who worked throughout the game.
