New orthopedic surgeon joins Pines Orthopedics

CARIBOU, Maine – Pines Health Services is excited to welcome orthopedic surgeon Dr. John Gluscic to Pines Orthopedics and Sports Medicine.

“We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Gluscic to the Pines Orthopedics,” said Traci Rogers, RN and chief nursing officer and chief operations Officer of Pines Health Services. “Dr. Gluscic has a passion for helping patients regain their mobility and helping them improve their quality of life, and is a perfect addition to our amazing orthopedics team.”

Dr. Gluscic is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with over 30 years of experience. He earned his medical degree at the University of Pennsylvania Philadelphia. His internship and residency were both completed at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania. Dr. Gluscic most recently practiced in Millinocket and Calais.

“I am excited to join Pines Health Services and look forward to serving the community,” said Dr. Gluscic. “My goal is to work closely with each patient to develop personalized treatment plans that fit their needs.”

Dr. Gluscic moved to the County with his wife, Christine Lang. His family also includes four adult children. He is an avid yogi, and enjoys the outdoors, biking, hunting and traveling in his down time.     

Dr. Gluscic is welcoming new patients and his procedures will include, but are not limited to, ACL repair, arthroscopies, carpal tunnel release, knee and hip replacements, rotator cuff repair, nerve decompression and sports medicine.
