Thank you for joining us today as we dedicate this monument on behalf of our medical staff to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Cary Medical Center and the gracious gift bestowed to the City of Caribou 100 years ago by our namesake, Dr. Jefferson Cary.
Dr Cary’s journey began over a century ago when he arrived in this quiet town with a passion for medicine and a desire to make a difference. His unwavering dedication to his patients and his pioneering spirit transformed this county forever.
This hospital, bearing his name, is a living testament to his vision. It is a place where compassion meets cutting edge technology, where hope is nurtured and lives are saved.
As we unveil this monument, let us remember the man behind the name. May this monument serve as a reminder of Jefferson Cary’s extraordinary contributions and inspire us to carry on his legacy.
