FORT KENT, Maine – The stakes are high, and the mission is clear: an evening of intrigue, elegance and philanthropy awaits at the University of Maine at Fort Kent Foundation’s 18th annual Spring Gala. This year’s event, themed “Shaken, Not Stirred: A 007-Inspired Event”, will take place on April 5 at the UMFK Sports Center, promising a night of mystery, glamour and generosity.
A true rendezvous for secret agents and philanthropists alike, the evening begins at 6 p.m. with a social hour, where guests will enjoy expertly crafted cocktails, fine wines and gourmet appetizers while mingling in their finest Bond-inspired attire. At 7 p.m. the mission intensifies with a seven-course dinner, masterfully designed by Chef Joseph Gervais and executed with precision by Sodexo’s elite culinary team.
“This gala is not just about dressing to impress; it’s about making a lasting impact on UMFK students,” said Michael Elliott, executive director for Advancement and Alumni Relations at UMFK. “Every sponsorship, ticket purchase, and donation directly supports scholarships, books, supplies, internships and campus enhancements that shape students’ futures.”
“The Spring Gala is the UMFK Foundation’s signature fundraising event, and we have meticulously planned every detail to ensure a spectacular evening for our guests,” said Nichole Jandreau, UMFK Foundation board vice president and gala chair. “We are thrilled to welcome our community to a night of elegance and excitement while raising critical funds for student success.”
The UMFK Foundation invites individuals to purchase tickets in advance by April 2. Sponsorship packages and individual ticket sales are available online at UMFK.edu/give – simply click on the Gala icon to select your level of participation.
