Frontier Nursing University is thrilled to announce Dr. Samantha Paradis, FNP, CARN-AP of Caribou as the recipient of the prestigious 2025 Distinguished Service to Society Award. This annual honor recognizes an FNU graduate who demonstrates an extraordinary commitment to improving the lives of others through selfless service and unwavering dedication to their community.
Dr. Paradis’ exceptional work embodies Frontier’s core mission of extending compassionate, high-quality care to those in greatest need, consistently demonstrating integrity, humility and perseverance. Their tireless efforts have not only provided crucial support and healing to the individuals they serve but have also inspired colleagues and future healthcare professionals alike. Dr. Paradis stands as a powerful example of the profound impact one person can achieve through dedicated service, and FNU is immensely proud to count them among its esteemed alumni.

“A commitment to service has been a constant throughout my life, from my early involvement in establishing a local library in St. Agatha during high school to my current work providing healthcare for seasonal workers here in Aroostook. Improving the well-being of my community has always been a central focus,” said Dr. Paradis.
Frontier Nursing University will celebrate Dr. Paradis’ remarkable achievements at a special recognition event during the Hall of Fame & Annual Service Awards Dinner on Thursday, September 25 at the Kentucky Castle in Versailles, Kentucky.
