NEW SWEDEN, Maine — University of Maine Cooperative Extension invites local farmers, service providers and agricultural stakeholders to the 2025 Maine Pasture Walk Series, an opportunity to explore and learn at five working farms throughout the state. The final stop in the free series will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 30 at O’Meara Family Farm, 272 East Road.

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about livestock production systems, pasture management, forage species identification, climate-smart practices, regenerative grazing and more from fellow farmers and Assistant Extension Professor Jaime Garzon.
