Two Caribou High School freshmen cross country runners notched first-place finishes at the Maine Festival of Champions at Troy Howard Middle School in Belfast on Saturday, Oct. 4. Nearly 80 high schools from Maine, New England and New Brunswick sent teams. Emma Graves, daughter of Evan and Erin Graves of Caribou, ran a time of 20:00.73 to best nearly 150 freshman girls.
