The Mapleton Daze Committee will host their annual Fall Craft Fair & Vendor Fair this coming Saturday, Oct. 11. This Fall Fair is just in time for Halloween, Thanksgiving and upcoming holiday shopping.

The fair will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.  The Mapleton Elementary School will be the location of the fair.  To enter the school and the fair, please go through the main entrance doors to the school. Crafters and vendors will be found throughout the school, in the gym, hallways and the cafeteria. They will have lots of homemade items and vendor items for sale.

Readers are invited to come and support the tri-community and its local crafters.  There will be many handcrafted items for purchase from these various crafters and vendors. The Mapleton Daze Committee will have lots of goodies for sale with proceeds going towards Mapleton Daze in June 2026. Everyone is especially invited to stop by their table and see what they have.  They are looking forward to seeing friends and neighbors at the craft fair.

First trunk or treat

The Mapleton Daze Committee is excited to announce that they will be hosting their first trunk or treat event.  It is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 24, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Mapleton Elementary School playground.

The committee asks for kids to be brought dressed in their Halloween costumes and trunk or treat with them.  The committee is also currently looking for businesses, organizations and others who would like to participate in this event.  If you or your business would like to join them with a car that is decorated and hand out candy, please message The Mapleton Daze Facebook page or reach out to Lynnelle Foster.

Hunters breakfast

The Mapleton Daze third annual Hunters Breakfast will be held at the Lions Hall on Saturday, Nov. 8, from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. or until the food is gone.

The menu will consist of a breakfast buffet filled with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries, homemade baked beans, pancakes, toast, coffee, juice and water — enough to fill you up for the big hunt that day.

All hunters and non-hunters are invited to come for breakfast.
