St. John Valley weather for Oct. 29-Nov. 4, 2025

Wednesday-Friday

High pressure to the north of the Valley will keep mostly sunny skies across the region today with clouds increasing tonight. Partly sunny skies are expected Thursday as a low pressure system approaches from the Middle Atlantic with an occluded front crossing the area Thursday night and Friday.

There is plenty of moisture associated with this system and 1-1 3/4 inches of rainfall are expected, with locally higher amounts around 2 inches possible. Rain will continue Friday night into early Saturday before tapering to showers later Saturday.

Saturday-Tuesday

The low will move northeast of the St. John Valley Saturday with gusty northwest winds developing over the course of the day. Mostly cloudy skies Saturday night will become partly sunny Sunday as an upper-level trough remains over the region. Computer model variations and upper level troughing over the Northeast will bring uncertainty into the forecast after the weekend.

Based on current data, partly sunny skies with a chance of rain and snow showers Sunday with mostly cloudy skies Sunday night and a chance of rain/snow showers Monday through Tuesday. Highs in the 40s with lows in the upper 20s/low 30s are anticipated Saturday through Tuesday night.
