To the editor:
Doug Clapp is an amazing example of the impact a teacher can have on students.
I first ran across Doug Clapp in the St. John Valley Times many years ago. He started directing plays for students at Fort Kent Community High School and expanded to include students from other towns in the St. John Valley.
Recently I read in The County that he is still doing plays and adding younger students, and from different towns in the St. John Valley.
Teachers, in my opinion, are not compensated enough for the work they do. Doug Clapp, you are priceless.
