An altercation between a group of juveniles in Caribou on Halloween led to one person stabbing another with a knife, Caribou Police Chief Corey Saucier said in a release Monday.
The Caribou Police Department responded to the reported assault, which Saucier described as an “isolated incident,” around 7:15 p.m. Friday. There is no public danger, he said.
The condition of the juvenile who was stabbed is unclear. Officials have not indicated where the stabbing took place.
The suspected assailant turned himself in accompanied by a parent, Saucier said. An investigation is ongoing.
Because the stabbing suspect is a juvenile and subject to confidentiality laws, no further information will be released, Saucier said.
