Pinkham receives Van Buren’s MPA Principal’s Award

VAN BUREN, Maine — Van Buren District Secondary School is proud to announce that Elijah Pinkham has been named our Maine Principal’s Award recipient.

Pinkham is an exceptional student who consistently seeks out challenges and opportunities to grow. He has pushed himself academically by taking higher level science courses and representing our school at the Maine State Science Fair, showcasing his intellectual curiosity and dedication to research. Beyond the classroom, Pinkham has demonstrated outstanding leadership as class president, organizing fundraising efforts and class activities that strengthened school spirit. As president of the National Honor Society, he further distinguished himself by leading meaningful service projects, including a Secret Santa program for staff and fundraising for the Athletic Hall of Fame.

Through his academic initiative and sustained commitment to leadership and service, Pinkham truly exemplifies the qualities this award is meant to recognize. We are incredibly proud of him!
