To the editor:
The County’s story, “National parks educator hired as Houlton’s rec director” (April 8, 2026) started well. An enthusiastic Crystal Lewis has been selected as the town’s next rec director. An article that should have been a moment of celebration pivoted (yet again) to rehash last fall’s unfortunate events. With all due respect, the reporting about Houlton town news has become predictable, and boring. Enough already.
