Session teaches how to preserve great food

PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — For those who want to preserve garden produce, the UMaine Cooperative Extension will offer a food preservation workshop on Saturday, June 24, from 1 to 5 p.m. at its office at 57 Houlton Rd.

This is a “hands-on” class that will cover water bath and pressure canning, freezing and drying.
