CARIBOU, Maine — The next County Challenge Series race is the Musterd Mile, to be held July 7.

Registration begins at 6 p.m. at Caribou High School, with the downhill race beginning at 7 p.m. and ending near Monica’s Scandinavian Gift Shop one mile later.

There are no fees, “just a chance to set a personal record for the mile,” according to race director P.J. Gorneault.

Evan Graves of Caribou won the 2016 version in 4 minutes and 39 seconds. Teagan Ewings of Houlton was the fastest female, coming in at 5:51.5. Forty eight runners participated.

The Musterd Mile is the fourth of nine races in the County Challenge Racing Series. The next one is the Potato Blossom 5-Miler in Fort Fairfield July 15.
