Variety on the sales lot helps

PRESQUE ISLE – Percy’s Auto Sales, Inc., Aroostook County’s only full line Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram dealership, offers a great variety of new and used cars, trucks, vans and SUV’s.
Forty-eight years ago, Percy Pelkey founded the family-owned business on Main Street in Presque Isle, since then all sales, service and parts departments have expanded into their current 10,000-square feet site on 40 Houlton Road.
With approximately 100 vehicles on the lot at any one time and 15 full-time staff, including three mechanics and one auto-detailer, the Percy’s team strives to offer the best sales and maintenance service for their customers.
Heading up the Percy’s company is owner Delores Pelkey, general manager Scott Norton, parts manager Travis Chapman, service manager Joe Pelkey, and sales manager Bruce Guerrette.
“We try to take care of all service, maintenance and part needs of our customers,” said Finance Manager Ryan Rackliffe. “We sell authentic Mopar parts, exclusive to this area.”
According to Rackliffe, Percy’s top priority is to not only find the best vehicle for each buyer, but continue taking care of the customer’s maintenance needs after the sale. Therefore, all their technicians are factory-certified.
Percy’s currently offers a line of fuel-efficient vehicles including the Dodge Caliber and two SUVs – the Jeep Patriot and the Jeep Compass.
Another recent arrival is the Dodge Challenger. They also have the redesigned 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee, a full-sized SUV, and the redesigned Ram trucks.
“We have competitive interest rates and leasing is offered once again,” Rackliffe said.
Hours of business are Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
