Simon Levi Cyr

SIMON LEVI CYR, HOULTON – Simon Levi Cyr, born on September 23, 2016, our precious heart warrior peacefully went home to be with his Lord on March 3, 2018, at 17 months old.
The son of Levi and Michelle (Parent) Cyr and little brother to Peyton and Aiden, Simon had amazing strength that was admired by many. His presence was magnetic and he had such a charismatic smile, if you were so lucky to receive one. His little “old man” laugh will forever be cherished. Simon won over the love of all the doctors and nurses who cared for him during his fight against CHD (Congenital Heart Disease). He loved to be around people, his “taggies,” riding in his custom built radio flyer wagon, and most importantly seeing his big sister and brother. Simon touched the lives of many during his short time here with us, and has left an imprint on many hearts.
Simon is survived by his grandparents, Brent and Gayle Cyr of Houlton, Rudy and Dinah Parent of Hamlin; great-grandparents, Jeannine Cyr of Hamlin, Bill and Sharon Cyr of Danforth, Carol Cyr of Houlton, James and Arlene Burton of Houlton; uncles and aunts, Jamie and Sharon Parent of Hamlin, Nicholas and Michelle Parent of Hamlin, Andrew and Heather (Parent) Levesque of Caribou, Aaron and Annette Cyr of Houlton also many great-uncles and aunts, and cousins. He was predeceased by his great-grandparents, Gerard and Isabel Parent and Peter Cyr.
The Cyr family extends its deepest gratitude to all the staff at Congenital Heart, Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital, and Boston Children’s Hospital for all the endless care and love given to our sweet boy. We are so thankful for your help and support to the entire family during the long hospital stays and especially during our last moments with Simon.
