Emily Canavan, a sophomore at Southern Aroostook Community School, has been accepted as a member of the 2018 Maine All State Orchestra as a part of the percussion section. Canavan is the daughter of Richard and Esther Canavan of Island Falls and a music student of Katie Noyes and Kermit McGary at SACS.
