Area students named to UMFK dean’s list
FORT KENT — Dr. Rachel E. Albert, vice president for academic affairs at the University of Maine at Fort Kent has announced that 316 students were named to the dean’s list for the fall 2011 semester.
Students attaining the honor must be degree candidates, enrolled as a full- or a part-time student, and must maintain a 3.20 grade-point average on a 4.0 scale for the semester with no grades below a “C.”
Included on the dean’s list are 64 students who attained a perfect 4.0 average.
Local students making the list include: Ashland, Taylor Baker; Blaine, Kevin Smith and Jennifer Tweedie; Chapman, Jean-Luke Brabant; Eagle Lake, Nicole Bouchard, Shawn Deprey, Alex Devoe, Elizabeth Morneault, Jennifer Parks-Michaud, Jamie Pelletier and Emily Willcox; Easton, Melissa Cowley-Perry; Fort Fairfield, Bella Michaud; Mars Hill, Alexandria Dame; Masardis, Miranda Donovan; Mapleton, Kelly Bell; Perham, Kelsey King and Rebecca Stokdijk; Portage, Autumn Condon and Antoine Gagnon; Presque Isle, Adam Kenneson, Alan McManus, Angela Norsworthy, Georgina Schiff and Bridget Hughes; and Winterville Plantation, Monique Boutot, Jared Roy and Oliver Silva.
