Several locals run in Beach to Beacon
CAPE ELIZABETH — Several Aroostook County runners made the trip to Cape Elizabeth for the Aug. 4 Beach to Beacon 10K Road Race.
The event featured 6,117 finishers, with Curtis Wheeler of Presque Isle establishing the fastest time among local participants in 33 minutes and 39.1 seconds, good for 52nd overall and 13th in the 25-29 year-old male division.
