EASTON — Two local men have been arrested following a break-in at the Easton High School.
“The burglary was reported to the Maine State Police after Easton officials discovered someone had entered the school and gained access to the chemistry lab, where a large number of glass test tubes were stolen,” said Sgt. Brian Harris, MSP.
Two adult males were subsequently charged in connection with the burglary.
“As a result of the investigation by Troopers Dennis Quint and Jeff Clark, Tim Rooney, 28, of Fort Fairfield, was arrested for burglary and theft. Also arrested was Erik Lamoreau, 33, of Easton, for possession of stolen property and violation of conditions of release,” said Harris.
Harris said the investigation into the case is continuing, with the possibility of more charges.
