University of Maine at Presque Isle to host escape rooms ahead of Halloween

PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — The University of Maine at Presque Isle’s Student Activities Office will be hosting two escape rooms on 5:30-9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30 in the Multi-Purpose Rooms of the Campus Center.

Up to five people per room, and there are two different themes.

Team members will need to work together by discovering clues, solving puzzles, and accomplishing tasks in order to leave the room. The goal of the game is to successfully escape a room in a limited amount of time.

In the first escape room, zombies are coming and participants have to get out as quickly as they can. The goal of this room is to find the keys to the getaway vehicle in the locker room before the zombies arrive. For the second escape room, a murder has been committed and it’s up to participants to find the human who did it so he or she can be tossed to the zombies.
