ATTENDING the recent tea party hosted by the Lunar Chapter were, in front from left, Patricia Dunton, Helen White, Mildred Bell, Dot White, Mildred Good, Mildred McIntosh PGM and Josephine Graham. Back row, Anna Mae Bradford, Hilda Hughes, Gretchen Brissette PGM, Geraldine Higgins, Brenda Hall, Charlene Buzza, Mary-Alice Boulier and Tammy Walton. All of these women are past matrons.

In attendance were Patricia Dunton, PM; Mildred Bell, PM; Dorothy White, PM; Josie Graham, PM; Mildred McIntosh, PGM; Mildred Good, PM; Geraldine Higgins, PM; Anna Mae Bradford, PM; Hilda Hughes, PM; Helen White, PM; Mary Alice Boulier, PM; Brenda Hall, PM; Tamia Walton, PM; Charlene Buzza, PM; and Gretchen Brissette, PGM, WM
The group met in the afternoon at Leisure Village dining room for a tea party. The tables were decorated with OES tea pots and each guest was given a crocheted tea cup with the sweet pea pin from the Worthy Grand Matron and Worthy Grand Patron.
The original dinnerware and silver ware from the original Goodwill Chapter #85 of Fort Fairfield was used as well as the silver tea service from Lunar Chapter. Finger sandwiches, strawberries and cheese and crackers were provided. A skit was performed by Gretchen Brissette and Charlene Buzza entitled “Making Her First Cake,” after which a lovely cake was served.
Many memories were exchanged since many of these ladies had not seen each other for over 10 years.  The oldest member there was 95 and is still going strong. These ladies had the time of their lives and were laughing and happy.
There were original members from the following original OES chapters in Aroostook County: Fidelity #32 Houlton, Friendship #140 Mars Hill, Elizabeth #108 Caribou, Goodwill #85 Fort Fairfield and Lunar #126 Presque Isle.
This day was perfect to celebrate what our WGM asked and to honor the women that have stayed faithful to OES even though they cannot come to the meetings each month. The plan is to do other get-to gathers with these lovely ladies several times during the year.
