Schools promoted to sales manager

HOULTON, Maine — Eric Schools was recently promoted to sales manager at York’s of Houlton.

In his new position, Schools is responsible for supervising and motivating the sales team by assisting each salesperson throughout the buying process.

“Eric always brings a smile with him into the doors every single day,” said Jamie York, dealer principal. “His pleasant demeanor, along with his terrific work ethic, made the choice easy for his promotion. Eric is certainly one busy individual, and with his positive attitude and willingness to help car buyers with their every need, makes him extremely valuable to the York’s of Houlton sales team.”

Schools came to York’s of Houlton in April of 2016, where he excelled as the finance manager in the Finance and Insurance Department. He was able to handle the insurance responsibilities correlated within the F&I department. 

Schools, a Hodgdon High School graduate in 1999, previously had worked 10 years at Schwan’s Home Delivery, where he was a salesperson/delivery driver. His experience in sales made him a natural fit for his new promotion at York’s of Houlton.

Schools celebrates his new position with his wife, Kira, and their six children: Hailey, 16, Landon, 14, Aliya 12, Abigail, 10, Esmé, 8, & Harlow, 5.
