Mindy R Bartley and Garry H. Nelson, Jr. exchanged wedding vows on July 21, 2007. The wedding ceremony was held at the Celebration Center in Fort Fairfield and officiated by Pastor Mark Babin. The bride is the daughter of Bill and Joyce Sewall, of Washburn, and Ray Bartley, of Rutland, Vt.
The groom is the son of Garry and Debbie Nelson, of Mapleton, and Tim and Tammy Carney, of Hancock.
The matron of honor was Darcey Miller, of Presque Isle. The bridesmaids were Renee Bragdon, of Presque Isle, cousin of the bride; and Kim Guerrette, of Presque Isle, cousin of the bride. Junior bridesmaid was Brooke Lovely, daughter of the bride. The flower girl was Jaida Beaulieu, daughter of the bride.
The best man was Isaac Nelson, of Easton, brother of the groom. The groomsmen were Garry Nelson, Sr., of Mapleton, father of the groom; and Otis Nelson, of Portage Lake, uncle of the groom.
The bride and groom spent a few days in North Conway, N.H., and Wells.
The couple is planning a honeymoon in March 2008. They reside in Washburn.
