Wintergreen Arts Center brings back THE WINTERGREEN EXPRESS

PRESQUE ISLE — Wintergreen Arts Center is bringing back THE WINTERGREEN EXPRESS holiday event this year. Families may choose from the following evenings to take a ride on the magic trolley or drive their own vehicle to the North Pole: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, Dec. 10-12.

Two options, two prices this year. Take a magical ride on Molly the Trolley from the Sargent Family Community Center for $15 per round trip ticket or drive directly to the Wintergreen Arts Center for $7.50 per ticket to the North Pole.

Either by trolley or by vehicle, please join us for this very special holiday visit to the North Pole where Santa’s Elves serve hot cocoa, sing, dance, and talk with all the boys and girls. Families will have fun decorating and eating sugar cookies and visiting with Santa Claus. Little ones get a souvenir jingle bell to take home too!

Tickets go on sale Monday, Nov. 15, at noon. Tickets are available online at www.wintergreenarts.org (click on WINTERGREEN EXPRESS TICKETS). Tickets are also available over the phone at 207-762-3576, or at Wintergreen’s 830 Main Street location in Presque Isle at the Aroostook Centre Mall.

“Wintergreen thanks all of our community partners and the dozens and dozens of volunteers who truly make this an enchanted experience for the young and young-at-heart,” said Dottie Hutchins, Wintergreen’s executive director.

This event is intended for children ages 10 and under. Everyone needs a ticket to enter the North Pole. All children must be accompanied by at least one ticketed adult. Wee ones, 12-months and younger ride free. Upon purchase, ticket holders receive an email receipt indicating the date, time, and type of ticket(s) they selected to the North Pole.

For more information, the public may contact Wintergreen at 207-762-3576 or wintergreenarts@gmail.com.
