To the editor:
There have been several very well attended demonstrations in Aroostook county towns (Caribou, Presque Isle, Houlton and Madawaska). The demonstrations basically decry the cruel and often illegal actions of the Trump administration.
Yet there has been little to no press coverage of the demonstrations. I question the local media’s choices, and even their objectivity. Why the lack of coverage? Surely if dozens to hundreds of people take time and make effort to speak out, that is deserving of coverage by an unbiased local media. But the coverage just isn’t there. Why?
