EASTON, Maine — Principal Laura Hunter is pleased to announce that Raiden Cochran is the 2026 recipient of the Maine Principal’s Award for Easton Jr/Sr High School. The award, sponsored by the Maine Principal’s Association, is given in recognition of a high school senior’s academic achievement and citizenship.
During his tenure at Easton Jr/Sr High, Cochran has distinguished himself in the classroom, on the playing field and within his community.

“Raiden embodies all qualities that make a great Easton Bear. I am so proud of him and all of his accomplishments at EHS,” Hunter commented in preparing the award.
Cochran and Hunter will attend a special awards ceremony and luncheon on Saturday, April 11. The Honors Luncheon recognizes these outstanding students with the presentation of an individual plaque and the awarding of 10 $1,000 scholarships in the names of former Maine principals and MPA Executive Directors Horace O. McGowan, Richard W. Tyler and Richard A. Durost.
