PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — Wintergreen Arts Center is featuring young artists during March, Youth Art Month. The opening reception for the show will be held at the Wintergreen Arts Center in the Aroostook Center Mall from 6-7:45 p.m. on Friday, March 6.
“We are thrilled to be featuring art from Wintergreen students from both our after school and preschool programs,” said Gretchen Violette, Wintergreen’s programs director. “It is always so amazing to see these young artists create works at the center, and we are so excited to be able to share just a small portion of those works with the public.”
Join Wintergreen in celebrating Youth Art Month with so many young artists showing several different mediums. The show is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
Violette adds, “Youth Art Month is an exciting time here at the center. All of our young artists are incredibly talented and creative. Our hope is that their courage to share their work inspires many other young people to explore their own creativity.”
