Parady, David E., Jr., 62, July 16, 2008.  Arrangements by Bowers Funeral Home, Island Falls.  Interment was held in the St. Agnes Cemetery, Island Falls.
    ISLAND FALLS – David E. Parady Jr., 62, died July 16, 2008, in Millinocket. He was born Jan. 26, 1946, in Belfast, the son of David E. Sr. and Janet Carr Parady.
    Dave worked for Bangor and Aroostook Railroad for 30 years. He was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, and helped coordinate funeral luncheons and volunteered for Agape Food Pantry.
    He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Jannette (King) Parady of Island Falls; three children, Bob and his wife, Maria Baker, of Manchester, N.H., Roger Parady and his fiancee, Andrea, of Alton, and Anita and her husband, Skip Lewin, of Patten; seven grandchildren, Jamie, David, Jessie, Aaron, Gabby, Sam and Petey; one great-grandson, Aidrian; one sister, Barbara Sleeper of Island Falls; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents.
    Friends called 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Bowers Funeral Home, Island Falls. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated 10 a.m. Friday at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Island Falls, with Father David Raymond, celebrant. Interment was held at St. Agnes Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Agape Food Pantry, Island Falls.
